    For acute care clinics

Physicians, rehabilitation clinics, and health centers want to optimize the quality of indications and results – and automate the workflow along the supply chain in a quality-assured way.

Surgical therapy, for example of knee and coxarthrosis, is a cross-departmental task: From the nursing staff to physiotherapists and occupational therapists, from medical services to relatives – a large number of parties are involved.

Surgical therapy, for example of knee and coxarthrosis, is a cross-departmental task: From the nursing staff to physiotherapists and occupational therapists, from medical services to relatives – a large number of parties are involved.

Movement assessments are the method of choice to measure the quality of the indications and results, before and after the operation. The process of documenting everything is laborious. Treatment success is often charted subjectively and is not based on metric quality indicators. By using a new technology, the AI-based 3D movement analysis, body data and thus the treatment results can for the first time be recorded objectively and systematically for a large amount of people – without additional hardware or sensors, simply via an app with any smartphone or tablet.

This supports an information exchange in the clinic and with downstream sectors. The interoperable application enables easy integration into the electronic patient record and discharge management. In this way, quality assurance can be implemented in a time-saving, billing-relevant, and high-quality manner. Previous assessment routines will be digitized and pushed to the next level. The measurement accuracy and diagnostic quality of the technology has been and is continuously proven in clinical studies.

The Lindera KlinikApp is developed by leading physicians, therapists, academics and data scientists. The doctor or therapist selects assessments from pre-selected suitable functional outcomes or patient-related outcomes:

    • Neutral zero method, TUG test, 10-m gait test, ROM tests
    • Staffelstein, VAS, NRS scale, SF-12, WOMAC

AI-based algorithms provide objective and valid data for the movement analysis of the functional tests.

In the future, doctors and therapists will use the Lindera algorithms to record, for example, step length, walking speed and the time a patient takes to get up during the Timed Up and Go test in order to evaluate the course of rehabilitation – easily via an app. Therapy-supporting recommendations are derived from the results.

    Detailed description of the benefits

    • Comparable assessments for the standardization and specification of admission, treatment and discharge management
    • Body data as objective patient-reported outcomes
    • No media disruptions
    • Improving adherence and the patient outcomes
    • Automatic documentation by linking the patient files with the HIS and practice information system
    • Relieving specialists through less documentation
    • Attractive, digital-savvy way of working to win over specialists
